Lena, on the left, had a tattoo- which she got so that John
Gold would
always remember the beating he gave her, but as the years went by,
I started drawing her with a slightly misshapen face and a bruise
that just never went away. Like her son, Ty,
she is an Arkadian, but she's never seen in wolf form. She prefers
knives to teeth. There
are several very strange things about her, which, no doubt, I will
never cover, starting with her very complicated death.
I drafted a version of it, but it will probably never make the comic
as her death
hinges on the death of her son's girlfriend and the five million actions that death
spurred on- why she turned on Danny Relston, why Ty left the city,
and who the man standing behind her is in that sketch on
the right I drew a few days ago (Oct 2005)... |
